PERONI Nastro Azzurro has launched a new marketing campaign which aims to drive sales of the Italian beer during the winter months.
The new ad, which launched earlier this month in cinemas, on billboards and in print, is the second in the brand’s ‘seasons’ campaign.
Shot in Italy, in Milan and the village of Cortina d’Ampezzo, the ad shows a group of young Italians “capturing the essence of an Italian winter”.
Laura Edwards, director of trade marketing at Miller Brands – the UK division of Peroni’s parent company SABMiller, said the new campaign “celebrates the uniquely passionate and stylish approach” Italians have to enjoying this time of year.
“World beer is one of the only beer categories in growth, up 13.6% in value, and Miller Brands continues to support retailers by offering brands like Peroni Nastro Azzurro to drive cash margin,” she said. “The timely launch of this activity will ensure consumers continue to engage and enjoy Peroni Nastro Azzurro during the key world beer drinking occasions of Christmas and New Year.”
