A NAIRN hotel that’s said to offer scope for development is on the market.

Situated on the main A96 Inverness to Aberdeen route, the Westerlea Hotel has five en suite letting rooms, a lounge bar, 16-cover dining room and owner’s accommodation.
Currently run on a bed and breakfast and wet sales basis, the business is said to be popular with locals and tourists. Jonathan Marr, business agent with Bruce & Co, which is handling the sale, said there’s scope for new owners to increase profit margins further by introducing food at the hotel, which has its own commercial kitchen.
“The current set-up boasts sound profit margins, allowing new owners to either adopt the same method, or alternatively, increase profit margins further by introducing lunch and dinner sales,” he said. Offers over £449,995 are sought.
