Inverarity Morton welcomed more than 700 people from across the trade to The Garage in Glasgow last month for the latest iteration of its Evolution showcase event, Evolution: Spirits Live.Â
Described as ‘an immersive festival of flavour, creativity and discovery’, the show brought together producers and brand ambassadors from scores of drinks companies for an afternoon of sampling, masterclasses and networking.Â
Exhibitors at the event spanned the drinks industry, from global producers to craft distillers.Â
Names included Angostura, Disaronno, Arbikie, Raasay, Campari, Bacardi, Phraya, Base Spirits and Chimera Brands.Â
Masterclasses included sessions on Buffalo Trace, Mellowcorn, Angel’s Envy, Jaywalk and Maker’s Mark as well as a number of sessions looking at the emerging agave spirits sector.Â
Agave Uncovered: A Journey Through Tequila & Mezcal was an immersive masterclass teaching attendees more about one of the most dynamic drinks categories in 2026.
And two separate sessions in conjunction with Base Spirits brought together venues to discuss their approaches to building their cocktail menus.
Participants included Wild Goose in Aberdeen, Glasgow venues Anchor Line, The Citizen, The Atlantic, Kelvingrove Café and Zhima, Edinburgh’s Bonnie & Wild and The Last Word and The American Bar at Gleneagles.
