The Corner House in Kilwinning has celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special birthday bash, bringing 100 of its regular customers together to mark a decade at the heart of the town.

Part of the award-winning hospitality group Buzzworks, The Corner House opened its doors on September 1, 2016, and has since established a reputation for its good food, welcoming atmosphere and support for the Kilwinning community.

As part of its birthday celebrations, the venue also held a charity race night, which raised over £500 for North Ayrshire Women’s Aid and the Seen Beyond Foundation by Sarah Cannan.

The anniversary was particularly special for general manager Jordan Blades, who has developed his career at The Corner House, starting out behind the bar before progressing through the business to lead the team.

Blades said: “Celebrating 10 years of The Corner House was a truly special occasion, and it was fantastic to see so many people come together to mark such an important milestone.

“We are incredibly grateful to our team, guests and local community for the support, loyalty, and memories they have shared with us over the past decade.

“We are also delighted that the event raised ÂŁ507 for North Ayrshire Women’s Aid and the Seen Beyond Foundation by Sarah Cannan, helping to support the invaluable work they do within our community.

“We would like to thank everyone who has supported The Corner House over the past 10 years. Your continued support has played a huge part in our journey, and we look forward to creating many more memorable experiences together in the years ahead.”
