One of the UK’s most famous nights out has arrived in Glasgow, for the first time hosted in a temporary structure in Candleriggs Square.
The award-winning Lady Boys of Bangkok open their new Full Moon Tour in the Merchant City tonight, in the purpose-built Sabai Pavilion for a ten-night run.
Running until 6 September, the internationally acclaimed cabaret offers audiences a winning combination of comedy, cabaret, music, outrageous costumes and feel-good entertainment – and this year, the experience starts the moment audiences walk through the doors.
Fully accessible and designed to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere, the Sabai Pavilion is described as much more than somewhere to watch the show. “Audiences can arrive early, meet friends, grab a drink and soak up the atmosphere before taking their seats for an evening that has become something of a British entertainment institution,” said the Lady Boys’ publicist.
For more than 25 years, the Lady Boys show has been entertaining UK audiences, selling more than a million tickets and establishing itself as the longest-running cabaret show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The new Full Moon Tour is said to be packed with ‘dazzling costumes, powerhouse performances, jaw-dropping choreography, chart-topping anthems and the trademark comedy’.
