Following its tail waggingly good debut in 2025, dog-dedicated festival Barklove is returning to Glasgow’s SWG3 on Sunday 5 July.
Described as the ‘ultimate feel good celebration’ for dogs and the people who love them, Barklove is a day designed to be explored at a canine pace.
From the specially installed Fun Agility Area and live, dog inspired art taking shape throughout the site, to relaxed chill out sessions, browsing stalls, education workshops or soaking up the atmosphere of dog friendly DJ sets, organisers promise plenty to dip in and out of across the day.
Whether attending with a furry companion or without, Barklove is the ultimate day out for dog lovers, said founder Jenn Nimmo-Smith, who also confirmed that the event is licensed.
“Creating Barklove and seeing it come to life was a real dream come true. Combining my lifelong love of dogs with my background in events felt like a natural fit, and nothing beats spending time in the company of dogs.
“Bringing Barklove back to SWG3 on Sunday 5 July feels like the perfect way to spend a summer day, and I cannot wait to welcome dogs and dog lovers back together again.”
