Following a £3million development at The Waterside Hotel on the Ayrshire coast, Scottish hospitality and leisure group SimpsInns is to open Si! Spa at The Waterside on Tuesday 17th February.
SimpsInns describes the new sea-view spa at West Kilbride as ‘one of Scotland’s most exciting leisure and tourism developments’ for 2026.
Its facilities including six treatment rooms, a four-person Rasul experience, sauna and steam room, experience showers, as well as a spa lounge and relaxation area.
The spa will overlook the beach and have a strong focus on the outdoors, with a large hydro pool, outdoor shower, cold bucket, a sheltered firepit and seating area.
There will be a menu of individual treatments using ESPA and ishga products, alongside a curated selection of spa days and spa breaks ‘designed for total relaxation’.
Si! Spa at The Waterside will offer bespoke spa breaks, allowing guests to build their own experience by selecting treatments and add-ons such as afternoon tea, light bites or dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.
Seasonal spa break packages will also be available from £110 per person, Sunday to Thursday, including an overnight stay, full use of the spa facilities, a 25-minute treatment, spa afternoon tea, and the use of robes and towels throughout the stay.
Just 40 minutes from Glasgow, the family-run Waterside Hotel enjoys sea views over the Firth of Clyde towards the Isle of Arran.
The new spa is part of the hotel’s redevelopment, alongside the addition of 17 new sea view bedrooms which opened in October, taking the hotel to 40 bedrooms.
