Joe Mantle, Franklin & Sons new UK brand ambassador

Community, creativity and collaboration are what it’s all about for new Franklin & Sons UK brand ambassador, Joe Mantle. 

Joe, who has worked in a variety of hospitality roles, will cover the whole of the UK in his new role, working alongside fellow brand ambassador Tommaso Cicala. 

“I’ve always loved the energy and creativity of hospitality,” Joe told SLTN. “No two days are the same, and you’re constantly surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do. I was drawn in by the idea that you can make someone’s day better through great service and a memorable drink. 

“What keeps me here is the community. There’s such a sense of connection, collaboration, and shared craft across the industry.”

In his new role, Joe will be working with bartenders and venues across the UK. The work, said Joe, will be ‘all about celebrating flavour, education, and community’. 

“My goal is to inspire and support the trade, while helping everyone get the best out of our products behind the bar.”

And the trade will continue to be at the heart of everything Franklin & Sons does as it continues to grow its business across the country. 

“Bartenders are at the heart of everything we do,” said Joe. “They’re the innovators and storytellers who introduce people to our products in the most creative ways. Franklin & Sons has always believed in working alongside the bartender community, listening, learning, and growing together.

That bartender and brand collaboration will be showcased in 2026 when Franklin & Sons hosts the next instalment of its Flavour in Motion cocktail competition, and during its activity around Paloma Week and Mule Week.
