SWURF, the award-winning app that connects remote workers with hospitality venues which are happy to host them, has added 13 Scotsman Group sites to its network.
The key facet of the SWURF app is that its users – of which there are currently 12,000 – can access a 10% daytime discount on food and drink.
The new partnership with the Scotsman Group brings some of Scotland’s most recognisable venues into that SWURF community – Glasgow’s Committee Room No. 9, Hillhead Book Club, The Corinthian, The Gardener, and Òran Mór; Edinburgh’s Golf Tavern, Stay Central, The Bothy, The Inn on the Mile, and The Granary; Aberdeen’s Palm Court Hotel; and St Andrews’ Space Street and The Vic.
According to SWURF’s creators, it was designed to address a key challenge faced by remote workers – the ‘productivity drain’ of working from the same location every day.
By providing access to diverse, professionally-minded workspaces, SWURF claims to help users break the monotony of home working, reduce distractions, and ‘tap into the energising atmosphere’ of hospitality venues.
Since launching in 2022, SWURF has generated over £1.8 million in revenue for hospitality partners during daytime trade by sending remote and hybrid workers their way.

There are over 450 ‘hospitality spaces that embrace the new era of flexible working’ now listed on the SWURF app across the UK.
