Bar Leone in Hong Kong has been crowned The World’s Best Bar, at The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 ceremony sponsored by Perrier.
At Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, in front of a crowd populated by the international bar community, Mexico City’s Handshake Speakeasy, and Barcelona’s Sips, were named as second and third place respectively on the 50 Best Bars list.
Crucially for Scotland, Edinburgh’s own Panda & Sons was once again included on the prestigious list, at a very respectable Number 34, sandwiched between Stockholm’s Röda Huset, and Lima’s Sastrería Martinez.
As Official Orange Liqueur Partner and sponsor of the ceremonial scarves, Cointreau put a distinctly French stamp on this year’s ceremony, with each of the 1 to 50 winners receiving the iconic red scarf – a tradition across 50 Best awards ceremonies.
