British drinks brand Roley’s is hoping to turn the beer industry on its head with the launch of Super Natural Lager, a 4.4% ABV beer with ‘unique added benefits’.
Launching in the UK via Love Drinks this month, Roley’s uses a ‘secret scientific process’ and all-natural ingredients to create a Super Natural Elixir that removes sugars, lowers carbs and retains B3, B5, B6 + B9 vitamins during the brew.
As such, it claims the resultant beer can offer drinkers reduced inflammation and better energy, cognitive function and metabolism.
The pioneering lager also has just 89 calories per 330ml, some 35.8% fewer than a standard 4.4% ABV beer.
Developed by English entrepreneur Stewart Rowley using Sheffield Hallam University’s microbiology team and laboratories, and brewed sustainably in the North of England, the Super Natural Lager is said to provide these added benefits without compromising on flavour, mouthfeel or quality.
Rowley said: “Like many former athletes, I learned the hard way that you can’t keep eating like a rugby player when you’re no longer training like one.
“After I stopped playing, the weight started creeping on, and as I was working in the fast-paced drinks industry, it meant I was drinking most days.
“Before long, I found myself struggling to perform, both personally and professionally. That’s when Roley’s journey began.”
Described as having a ‘gorgeously golden appearance and elegant carbonation’, the Super Natural Lager’s tasting notes suggest ‘delicate citrus, floral and soft malt aromas’, currently available in a 330ml can.
Targeted at people who have ‘healthy and active lifestyles’, to support the brand launch, Roley’s Super Natural Lager is the official beer and preferred partner of the global fitness brand HYROX throughout 2025/26 in the UK and Ireland.
Roley’s recently completed a successful funding round in April 2025 and has big plans in the wider drinks category, asserting that its trademarked Super Natural Elixir technology can be applied to all beers, wines and ciders to achieve the same results and benefits.
Managing director of Love Drinks, Samantha Burke, added: “We were immediately blown away by Roley’s, not just by the drinking quality of the Super Natural Lager but by the technology, the team behind the brand and the incredible added value the beer offers to drinkers.
“As UK consumers continue to be more health conscious, we sincerely believe Roley’s can be a major disruptor and game changer in beer and beyond.”
