Allied Leisure, the operator behind ‘dynamic’ Glasgow’s hospitality venues including Max’s Bar, La Cheetah Club, Room 2, Mikaku, and the soon-to-launch Clydeside Containers, has selected Inverarity Morton as its exclusive wine and spirits supplier.
The new partnership, which follows a competitive tender process, will see Inverarity Morton provide a bespoke drinks portfolio tailored to each Allied Leisure venue’s ‘unique identity’, with a particular focus on the forthcoming Clydeside Containers, the riverside food and cultural destination set to open this summer.
“We were looking for a partner who could match our ambition and understand the individuality of each of our venues,” said Allied Leisure Group operations and marketing director, Nathan Sparling.
“Inverarity Morton stood out not only for their exceptional portfolio and logistical capabilities but also for their commitment to collaboration and innovation.
“As we prepare to launch Clydeside Containers, their support will be instrumental in delivering a drinks experience that complements our diverse food offerings and vibrant atmosphere.”
Inverarity Morton is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. Commercial director Ian Cumming commented: “Marking our 80th year, this partnership with Allied Leisure Group is particularly meaningful.
“It reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting Scotland’s most exciting hospitality ventures. Clydeside Containers represents a bold new chapter in Glasgow’s food and drink scene, and we’re proud to be part of its story from the outset.”
Clydeside Containers will feature a curated selection of independent food vendors, live entertainment, and community events, all housed within a sustainable, container-built structure on the banks of the River Clyde.
Allied Leisure aims for it to become a landmark destination, ‘celebrating Glasgow’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary creativity.
