Is there anything more romantic than unlimited gravy?

Love is in the air at the Signature Group’s Edinburgh venues, where couples heading out for a Valentine’s Day treat will find a variety of special offers that will, at the very least, raise a smile.

Cold Town House, in the city’s Grassmarket, has launched a ‘gravy fondue’ experience to encourage ‘intimate double-dipping’ over Valentine’s weekend.

This sharing menu offers a choice of turkey, beef, chicken, nut or veggie roast with all the trimmings, including pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and roast potatoes, as well as a big steaming bowl of famous Cold Town House gravy.

General manager Nikk Stevens said: “We wanted to create a unique dining experience for romantic couples to share together this Valentine’s Day and we think our gravy fondue is sure to get hearts racing.

“Our customers love our famous gravy and fun new ways to enjoy tasty food, so this is the perfect menu for couples to embrace the food of love and double dip together.”

Outwith romance season, a Cold Town House Sunday Roast gravy fondue menu will be available for groups of four or six to share together on Sundays only.

Signature is also offering a fun new bondage-themed cocktail at its Copper Blossom venue on Edinburgh’s George Street.
