On top of the world…. Malone’s new rooftop bar

Malones Irish Bar on Sauchiehall Lane is aiming to take guests’ G-splitting experience to a whole new level with the launch of its brand-new Guinness Rooftop Bar.

Working in partnership with the Guinness brand and the ‘creative geniuses’ at Evolve Design, Malones has crafted a striking rooftop terrace celebrating both the tradition and innovation of the world-leading stout.

“Picture this – the finest Guinness in the city, served up in a vibrant, colourful space adorned with a mix of classic and modern Guinness artwork,” said Malones. “If that doesn’t make you feel like you’re in Ireland, we don’t know what will!”

In time for the Six Nations rugby tournament, the Glasgow bar has installed three massive HD screens for customers to catch every bone-crunching moment.

The business has also extended its first-floor late-night bar to handle the rush of thirsty patrons during the rugby and St. Paddy’s celebrations, with more taps, more whiskey, and more sitting space.

Malones has rolled out a brand-new food menu, with pub classics like burgers and fish & chips, alongside the ‘showstopper’ Spice Bag, now with Irish Curry Sauce.

Simon Keane of Malone’s has been busy sourcing Guinness paraphernalia from around the world.

“With a roof terrace and a bigger bar to match the buzz, Malones is set to be your go-to spot for the best Guinness in Glasgow… and we’re not just saying that because we’re Irish.”
