Are ya feelin’ lucky, Duck? Well… are ya?

To celebrate its second birthday in Edinburgh’s St James Quarter, gastro diner brand Duck & Waffle is offering its customers the chance of a free meal.

Starting today, Monday February 3rd, until Sunday February 9th, guests dining between 9am and 4pm will be invited to roll a pair of red dice at the end of their meal.

Diners lucky enough to roll a double ‘2’ will win their entire table’s meal on the house.

Duck & Waffle Edinburgh general manager Alexander Winter confirmed the offer: “To celebrate our 2nd Birthday guests at Duck & Waffle Edinburgh will be invited to roll the dice before paying their bill. Land double twos and your entire meal for your table is on us – it’s our way of saying thank you for making the past two years unforgettable.”

The brand opened in Edinburgh in February 2023, following the success of its first location in London. Founder Shimon Bokovza’s aim was to ‘celebrate the joy of delicious food and drink in a warm and buzzy atmosphere, morning to late night’.

With a distinctly theatrical design in its Edinburgh outpost – which employs 50 to 60 people – the venue is said to offer a ‘brilliantly executed take on comfort food, crafted with the freshest ingredients and complemented by an iconoclastic cocktail selection’.

The Duck & Waffle brand expanded earlier this month with a new restaurant opening in Dubai.
