Staff wellbeing charity Hospitality Health is teaming up with the Clayton Hotel Glasgow this Saturday for the 2024 Hospitality ‘Elf’ Run.
The charity, led by Gordon McIntyre MBE alongside new sponsor HRC Recruitment wants to see you in your finest green’n’reds down by the Broomielaw at 9am, Saturday 23rd November, for the annual five kilometre fun run, followed by brunch and catch-ups in the Clayton Hotel.
Charity founder McIntyre said: “We would be thrilled for as many people as possible to join us for this kick start to the festive season fun walk/ run/ jog!”
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, with running registrations now open. Cost per runner is £5 with all funds going to the Hospitality Health charity.
Set up in 2018, this Scottish charity provides essential mental health and wellbeing support to the licensed trade.
Hit this sign up link to register – https://lnkd.in/gHTZhNHE – then gather at the La Pasionaria Statue across from Clayton Hotel in time for a 9am start around the 5km route along the Clyde Walkway and around Glasgow Green.
One of the aims of the event is to promote health and wellbeing but also sustainability – so the organisers recommend bringing your own water/sports drink with you on the day in a reusable bottle.
However for anyone who may need rehydrated whilst on the route there will be one mid route water point. The event will be marshalled by volunteers on the day and marked out along the route.
“Our main aim is for everyone to come along and have some festive fun, make some potential new friends help raise some money for an amazing charity and start a Saturday morning in a positive mindset,” said McIntyre.
