Aberdeen restaurant Amuse by Kevin Dalgleish has announced plans to extend its Queens Terrace site, creating a new lounge space and private dining room for guests.
Opened in July 2022, Amuse is said to offer ‘a refined but relaxed’ dining experience in the heart of Aberdeen, showcasing regional produce, with a touch of classic French flavour.
Within its first year, Amuse became one of only three restaurants in the city to achieve two AA Rosettes and has been featured in the 2023 Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland.
Chef patron Kevin Dalgleish said: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created at Amuse and we’re looking forward to the next phase of the restaurant.
“Expanding gives us around 40 more seats within a new lounge space which we’ll be working alongside some of our favourite whisky brands to develop.
“We’ll also be better equipped to cater to the increasing demand for a more private space for weddings and events for a further 30-40 guests.”
The new space is set to open early next year, bringing new jobs to the city.
