Promising to bring a taste of the Big Apple to Edinburgh, the New York-inspired bar chain Manahatta will open its first Scottish location on the capital’s Rose Street on Saturday 26th October.
The new location extends across two floors – ground level and basement – offering guests a ‘dynamic and stylish setting’ with a combined area of 380 square metres.
Both floors host art-deco-inspired arched back bars and lighting that is said to ‘channel the essence of New York streets’. A mirrored disco ball, evoking Times Square’s famous ball drop, accompanies an elevated DJ booth overlooking the large dancefloor.
A packed events calendar and entertainment lineup is planned for the new Edinburgh location, which will launch with the brand’s popular ‘Live & Loud Piano Night’ taking place every Thursday.
Manahatta Edinburgh’s cocktail offer will include a special £7 offer available Monday through Thursday, sharer options and its own ‘Six in The City’ menu.
The venue’s food offer will include chain favourites such as the NY Club Bagel, Karaage Chicken Bowl and Bao Buns and Steak Frites. Lunch time deals and small plates are also available, alongside a ‘Boozy Brunch’ package, a six-drink offer that will run until 8pm daily.
The venue will also cater to private events with flexible options, including full floor or entire venue hire.
Part of Arc Inspirations, Manahatta Edinburgh joins an expanding portfolio, with 17 established bars across nine locations in the UK, including Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Sheffield, York, and Harrogate.
CEO of Arc Inspirations, Martin Wolstencroft, said: “Edinburgh is the perfect city for our debut in Scotland, and we’re excited to introduce our new interior design concept to this vibrant location.
“With a significant £2.45million investment in the site, we’re eager to offer an elevated and unique experience that captures the essence of New York in Scotland’s capital, complete with top-notch entertainment and a dynamic atmosphere.”
