Paramount Bar, one of Signature’s flagship venues in Aberdeen, has reopened after receiving what is described as the North-east city’s ‘boldest and sexiest’ summer makeover.
The venue, on the city’s Bon Accord Street, has been closed for six weeks to undergo the £400k refurbishment, which has created an ‘eye-popping’ new look, with sharks coming out of walls, strobe and neon lighting, animal print seating, and modern touches like a double cubicle in the ladies and ‘juicy lip’ urinals.
Since it first opened in 2005, Paramount been a popular part of Aberdeen’s nighttime entertainment scene. It returned to unveil its new look with a party for 350 guests last Friday.
General manager Chloe Morton said: “This is a glow-up like no other. Here at Paramount, we’ve pulled out the stops with the boldest and sexiest interior design makeover Aberdeen has ever seen.”
From the relaunch party onwards, Paramount will be open Fridays from 5pm to 3am, Saturdays from 4pm to 3am, Sundays from 5pm to 12am, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm til 1am.
