Innis & Gunn set up shop on the Mound for the duration of the Fringe

Innis & Gunn are once again the official beer partners of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and will be welcoming visitors to their pop-up bar on the Mound to get a taste of Scottish food, drink and culture.

In the shadow of Edinburgh Castle, Fringe-goers are promised an ‘immersive Scottish experience’, with music, comedy, food, and drink all on offer under the Scottish craft brewer’s flag.

CEO of Innis & Gunn, Dougal Gunn, said: “When the eyes of the world are on Edinburgh, we should take it as an opportunity to showcase the best of Scotland.

“With this partnership, we can not only support the largest arts festival in the world, but we highlight the vibrant local food, drink and culture which quite rightly attracts visitors from all over the world.

“I’m sure this will be a very popular destination as people come to experience the best of Scotland. We’re going to have lots of fun – with a few surprises along the way.”

From  the 1st to the 25th of August , the brand will host a selection of local food and drink vendors – including pizzas from Scottish street food champions, Wanderers Kneaded, and Texas-style BBQ treats from Fred’s Backyard BBQ –alongside live performances of comedy and music throughout.

The food can, of course, be washed down with a pint of Innis & Gunn, or a G&T from local favourites Edinburgh Gin.
