Edinburgh’s Summerhall will once again host the Gravity Beer Festival this September, and the full roster of participating breweries has now been released to whet the appetite of beer aficionados.
Organised by Barney’s Beer, the festival will feature Closet Brewing, Crossover Blendery, DEYA, Drop Project Brewing Co, Full Circle Brew Co, Moonwake Beer Co, Six Degrees North, Talking Tides Brew Co, Tartarus Beers, Tempest Brewing Co, Timothy Taylor’s, Timmermans, Two By Two Brewing Co., as well as Ascension Cider.
Following its successful debut last year, which drew in over 900 attendees, the festival returns this September 27th and 28th with an expanded capacity to accommodate up to 1500 drinkers across three public sessions, and one exclusive trade session.
Andrew Barnett (aka Barney), the mastermind behind Barney’s Beer and the Gravity Beer Festival, said: “We’re really excited about this year’s Gravity Beer Festival and the host of amazing breweries we have on the line-up.
“We’ve taken everything we learned from our first event last year and, again, curated a list of brewers who all make fantastic beer of various styles and flavours from all around the country – and internationally – so that there’s something for everyone.”
With an all-inclusive ticket, attendees will receive a branded glass and unrestricted access to the festival’s beer halls, where they can savour a wide array of brews from across Scotland, and the North East, as well as from the rest of the UK, and even Belgium.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the extensive beer list, mingle with the brewers themselves, and partake in exclusive talks and tastings, curated especially for Gravity enthusiasts.
Marketing Manager at Full Circle, Jordan Crulley, added: “We’re super excited to head up to Edinburgh for Gravity Beer Festival this September. Meeting new people and pouring great beer in one of our favourite cities is always a great experience.”
