With dozens of English sites already trading successfully, Vietnamese street food restaurant chain Pho has turned its attention to Scotland.
Having initially launched north of the border with a unit in Edinburgh’s St James Quarter, the chain has just opened its second Scottish location in a former Moss Bros. shop on Glasgow’s Renfield St.
Described as a ‘perfect balance of twelve-hour broths, lean meats and fresh herbs and spices’ the couple have since promoted freshly made pho dishes as ‘the perfect day-after saviour, cosy comfort food and wholesome pick me up’.
Pho’s new Glasgow venue can accommodate about 100 covers, choosing from its extensive menu of street food classics like fresh summer rolls, savoury and spicy curries and wok-fried noodles, alongside a variety of pho, including a classic beef brisket noodle soup in 12-hour bone broth, deliciously healthy ‘supergreen’ soup, or a hot and spicy prawn soup.
Marketing director Libby Andrews said: “Glasgow has been on our radar for some time and we are so excited to finally become a part of the city’s vibrant and diverse community. Hopefully Glaswegians will love what we have to offer!”
