Fast food innovator Kebhouze has announced the introduction of a 100% halal menu ahead of Ramadan.
The self-styled ‘biggest kebab shop in the UK’ said that it had ‘worked tirelessly to remove all non-halal products from its menu to achieve 100% halal menu ahead of the religious period to create a space that every family can enjoy’.
Developed by a group of Italian entrepreneurs who noticed a gap in the food retail market, Kebhouze opened its first store in Milan in December 2021 and in the two years since has opened 25 stores across Italy, Spain and the UK.
Setting out to become a market leader in the kebab sector by offering premium products and a fully immersive kebab experience, Kebhouze offers four types of kebab meat, vegan and gluten-free options and kids’ meals.
Chief marketing officer at Kebhouze, Giulio Paternò, said: “Having a completely halal menu has been a top priority, as we want to create a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy our mouthwatering kebabs.
“Our team has worked tirelessly to overhaul our menu and remove any non-halal items without sacrificing the bold flavours our customers love.
He added: “To celebrate this exciting milestone, we’ve also launched five new kebabs including our own takes on everything from British classics to bringing a taste of the Mediterranean sun to the UK.
“At Kebhouze, we believe kebabs bring people together, and we’re proud to provide halal choices that allow us to serve our entire community.”
