All-inclusive beer tasting event, the Gravity Beer Festival, will return in 2024 to build upon the success of its launch event in 2023.
The craft beer festival, organised by Barney’s Beer in 2023, welcomed more than 900 visitors to Edinburgh’s Summerhall. For 2024, the event will return to the same venue, but with increased capacity to 1500 visitors over three public and one trade sessions.
Andrew ‘Barney’ Barnett, founder of Barney’s Beer and the Gravity Beer Festival said: “We’re really excited to be able to jump straight into organising for Gravity 2024 in September next year. The 2023 event was so much fun, and we have some new ideas that we’d like to add to make it even bigger and better!”
Gravity’s ‘all inclusive’ tag means that with their ticket, visitors will be given a branded glass, access to the beer halls and the possibility to sample anything on offer. Visitors will be invited to work their way through the beer list and try what organisers claim will be ‘some of the best beers in the UK’.
They’ll also have the chance to meet the brewers themselves and attend one of Gravity’s exclusive talks and tastings.
This year’s festival is scheduled for the 27th and 28th of September, and the first batch of ‘very early birds’ tickets is now on sale. The trade slot is on the afternoon of Friday 27th.
