ALL EYES will be on the Glasgow Hilton stage tonight, Thursday, 2nd November, as renowned comedian, author and raconteur David Walliams returns to host the 2023 SLTN Awards.
Walliams rose to fame with the infinitely quotable hit comedy show Little Britain, before establishing himself as an award-winning childrens’ author and ubiquitous celebrity.
Alongside his acting and writing, David swam the English Channel in 2006 and the length of the Thames in 2011, raising over £1 million and £2.5 million for Sport Relief respectively.
Tonight, before an esteemed gathering of licensees, restaurateurs, bar staff, operators and brands from across the Scottish hospitality sector, David will announce the winners of the fiercely-contested SLTN Awards, which annually recognise excellence in all aspects of the trade, with the help of a wide range of industry-leading sponsors, and an expert team of independent judges.
The evening, which includes a sumptuous dinner topped and tailed by sponsored welcome drinks and a splendid after-party, will also feature fund-raising activities on behalf of hospitality industry charity The Ben.Â
