EDINBURGH has the chance to embrace its inner punk following the launch of new Bristo Place bar Dizzy Izzy’s.
The venue, opened last month by owner Shandy Martin – who is also behind capital venue 4042 – has a focus on punk and rock music.
Jenni McFadyen of Dizzy Izzy’s said the venue ‘has soul, character and packs a punch on the attitude when it comes to what matters – enjoying life, making new friends and sharing memories with a glass in hand’.
“We plan on bringing good times no matter the occasion, with live music, great drinks and awesome smash burgers,” she said.
Named after Martin’s mother, Isobel, who sadly passed away in 2017, Dizzy Izzy’s opened its doors on Friday 21st July. McFadyen said the venue will reflect Isobel’s ‘spirit, attitude and love for life’.
The venue is open midday to 1am seven days a week (3am for the duration of the Edinburgh Festival).
