Renfrewshire’s Bowfield Hotel & Spa adds hot-tub lodges

Hospitality operator Manorview has unveiled 10 new countryside lodges at its Renfrewshire property, Bowfield Hotel & Spa, each with a private hot tub looking out over the firth of Clyde.

Nine of the lodges have a bedroom (twin or double), living area (with double sofa/sofa bed), smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and en-suite shower room, as well as the outside deck seating and hot tub.

The tenth lodge is extra special, with a larger living room space and bedroom, a tv at the foot of the bed and a standalone bath-tub in the bedroom, in addition to the outside hot tub. Named Ben Lomond, this lodge has been especially created for couples and is ideal for special occasions.

The Ben Lomond lodge can be included in wedding packages as the Honeymoon Suite for those choosing the countryside venue for their nuptials.

Commenting on the launch, general manager at Bowfield Hotel & Spa, Juliet Parry, said: “The scenery at Bowfield is undoubtedly part of the experience here – so we’re delighted to bring these lodges to our guests and ensure they can take full advantage of our setting while they enjoy a short break with us.”

Guests booking a private lodge will also have access to all of Bowfield’s facilities, including complimentary use of the hotel’s star-lit swimming pool, sauna, steam room and indoor spa pool, breakfast, and for the wee ones, use of the soft play.

Ms Parry continued: “Life can be busy! Our lodges are created for guests to enjoy a short break, breathe in the fresh country air, admire the views, and enjoy our fantastic facilities. They are perfect for unwinding.

“Whether you’re visiting with your partner, kids, a friend or relative, there really is something for everyone to enjoy at Bowfield – and the lodges have just added to that. We’ve had great interest in them already and look forward to welcoming the many guests who’ve booked.”

The new lodges were supplied and installed by Logspan, with Luddon Constructions acting as grounds contractor and overseeing the full development. The interiors were designed by Space ID, with Sketch and Design providing bespoke finishes, and Keith Robertson Landscaping delivering all landscaping and planting throughout the site.

Operations director at Manorview, Adam Cosgrove, added: “Bowfield has gone from strength to strength, and this is a great addition to Bowfield that we know customers will love.”
