Timed for the festive season, Kopparberg has launched a new Spiced Blackberry variant to sit alongside a refreshed look for its bestselling Spiced Apple cider.
As well as double-digit year-on-year growth since launching in 2014, the sweet caramel apple and warming cinnamon flavour is a staple of the winter season – with Kopparberg Spiced Apple taking the titles of bestselling seasonal cider variant and bestselling single bottle apple cider for Christmas 2021.
Building on this success, Kopparberg developed the new Spiced Blackberry variant to suit the 57% of fruit cider drinkers who listed a berry flavour within their favourite fruit cider variety.
The independent Swedish brewer describes the new flavour as “a sweet and tangy blackberry paired with warming cinnamon for a perfectly balanced, winter drink”.
Aimed at the ‘almost half of fruit cider drinkers who enjoy warm cider throughout winter’, Kopparberg’s spiced variants can be served warm or cold.

“Inspired by the Northern Lights, we designed the spiced variants’ new look using rich purple and autumnal brown colours to bring a sense of warmth and cosiness while standing out from the full range as a special seasonal treat.”
