DALMAHOY Hotel & Country Club has appointed a new executive chef.
Andy McQueen, whose 30-year career has included roles at Malmaison, Sheraton and Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, has created new menus majoring in fresh, seasonal ingredients for Dalmahoy’s fine dining restaurant, The Pentland, and the Brasserie at Dalmahoy.
Andy said he aims to put Dalmahoy’s food “firmly on the map”.
“It’s an exciting time to join Dalmahoy, there’s an established team here, and we’ve just launched an apprenticeship scheme whereby we are working with local colleges to identify new talent and train them up to chef standards,” he said.
