BARTENDERS from Scotland are among the finalists of a new cocktail competition for Scottish gin brand Rock Rose.
Brand owner Dunnet Bay Distillers had challenged bartenders to create a drink which reflected the distillery’s Caithness home.
After receiving entries from across the UK the company has announced five finalists: Marius Z Plucinski of Highland Mixology in Inverness; Ross Lawrie of Orchid in Aberdeen; Guy Hobley of Walcot House in Bath; Joshua Bishop of The Clockwork Rose in Bristol; and Max J Hayward of Lab 22 in Cardiff.
There will now be a public vote on social media before winners are announced in late October.
Claire Murray, co-founder of Dunnet Bay Distillers, said the company was “delighted with the quality of entrants”.
