Hebridean distillery launches colouring book

TOBERMORY Distillery has created a limited-edition adult colouring book featuring hand-drawn illustrations of its island home of Mull.

Designed to be enjoyed over a gin and tonic or a dram, the #TobermoryColourGin booklet features ten drawings by artist Lydia Bourhill of the Hebridean island, the distillery’s John Dore & Co copper pot gin still and a signature gin cocktail with blood orange, hibiscus flowers, a spring of thyme and a premium tonic.

Amy Burns, global marketing manager at parent company Distell, said: “Our colourful home on the island of Mull is ample inspiration for those looking to keep up the enriching, artistic hobbies many have started in lockdown.

“It’s thanks to this nourishing artistic community and the island’s stunning natural beauty that Tobermory Distillery is expressive by nature, and this is reflected in the spirits we craft – whether that is the rich palate of hand-picked botanicals which define our gin or the unique characteristics of our single malts, which come in the form of a heavily peated Ledaig or vibrant and un-peated Tobermory whisky.

“It is this expressive creativity which formed the inspiration for our colouring in books, designed to let you relax, unwind and unlock your artistic passions over a gin and tonic or dram of whisky.”

The colouring book is available to purchase with any gin or whisky from the distillery’s website for £5.
