EDINBURGH group Montpeliers has announced it will provide face coverings for staff members after securing a deal with a local business.

Staff from the operator’s seven Edinburgh-based venues, which includes Tigerlily, Montpeliers of Bruntsfield and Indigo Yard, can choose their preferred face mask design as part of the deal with Screen & Shield – the Edinburgh-based company behind the #sasMASK.

Paula Greenan, Montpeliers operations manager, said: “Safety of our staff and customers is paramount to us, so we were drawn to the safety features of Screen and Shield’s masks.

“We really love the designs – they give us the opportunity to allow our staff to choose their own mask and have some individuality in wearing it.

“Supporting a local Edinburgh business is also very important to us, as is the charitable donation to NHS charities that Screen and Shield make.”

Hass Peymani, founder of Screen & Shield, which donates 10% of its online sales to NHS charities, said: “We’re delighted that Montpeliers have recognised this and placed their trust in our #sasMASK to help protect their staff and customers. We are confident other hospitality businesses will quickly see attractions of the #sasMASK especially as they start the process of encouraging back customers to their venues.”
