PUBS that are able to reopen later in the summer will have the choice of a new ready to drink gin cocktail with the launch of Edinburgh’s Gin’s Raspberry Gin Fizz.
The new 6% ABV drink – available in a 250ml can – is produced by blending Edinburgh Gin’s Raspberry Liqueur with sparkling white wine. It has already been launched into the off-trade and will be available to pubs and bars ahead of their reopening.
Raspberry Gin Fizz joins the brand’s established range of ready to drink cans, which also includes Rhubarb & Ginger gin liqueur and ginger ale and Edinburgh Gin & Tonic.
Neil Boyd, UK managing director of parent company Ian Macleod Distillers, described the new product as “summer in a can”.
“The RTD category has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and now, more than ever, consumers are looking for convenient pre-mixed options – which is why we decided to bolster our award-winning range of premium RTDs with this exciting release,” said Boyd.
