BARTENDERS can receive advice on how to maintain a healthy mind and body throughout the COVID-19 crisis and beyond, with the help of trade charity Healthy Hospo.
The not-for-profit company, which promotes positive mental health in hospitality, has teamed with drinks company Brown-Forman to produce a series of four digital ‘workshops’ for bartenders around the world.
The Lockdown Lowdown sessions, hosted on Zoom, will cover topics including coping with anxiety and stress, the benefits of good nutrition and maintaining overall health and wellbeing. Beginning on May 18, the sessions will take place every Monday at 1pm for four weeks.
The first session will cover ‘Rest, Recovery and Opportunity’; the second, on May 25, is titled ‘Coping with anxiety and stress’; the third, on June 1, is ‘Boost your immune system with nutrition’; and the fourth, on June 8, is titled ‘Reconnecting with the world’.
