Brockmans Gin’s charitable spirit for NHS workers

Brockmans Gin donated £13,740 to the Meals for the NHS charity

BROCKMANS Gin has raised over £13,000 to provide meals for more than 2000 NHS frontline workers through its Rewards for Wards initiative.

A total of £13,740 was donated to the Meals for the NHS charity by the gin producer, which lowered the online sales price of its gin, waived delivery fees for customers and donated either £6 or £10 to the charity for each bottle sold through its website during the month of April. The Meals for the NHS charity provides meals for NHS staff in hospitals across the UK, including Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow.

Guy Lawrence, managing director of Brockmans Gin, said: “At a time like no other we, like so many other companies and individuals, decided to support our heroic frontline health workers. We hoped to raise £10,000, however, with the support of our customers, I and the team are delighted that we far exceeded that total.

“Our funds raised enough to prove over 2000 meals for NHS workers. Meals for the NHS is a brilliant cause, and is working with restaurants to provide hot, healthy meals for those who are doing so much to help others.”
