Scottish tapas and whisky masterclasses at The Gate for Burns Night


Glasgow pub The Gate is celebrating Burns Night with whisky masterclasses and Scottish tapas.

The Gallowgate venue is joining forces with Glasgow-based pop-up kitchen, That’s Yer Dinner, to serve Scottish-inspired small plates to toast Robert Burns from Wednesday (January 22) until Friday (January 24).

Spearheaded by bothers Grant and Gordon Reekie, That’s Yer Dinner will offer dishes including Kedgeree Scotch egg with vinegar peas, Scottish crab, celeriac and apple on wholemeal bread, served with a mug of partan bree and doughnuts during the three-day ‘Tapas AFF Takeover’ event.

Whisky masterclasses will also be available for guests to the east-end pub.
