NEW owners have teed off at The Golf Inn in St Andrews.
Brett Lawrence and Gillian McLaren, who already run the Rocca Deli café in the Fife town, have taken the helm at the venue on Golf Place and plan to build on its reputation for quality food with a new menu.
The couple also aim to introduce stand-up comedy nights, live music and cocktail evenings; and plan to carry out refurbishment work in the venue, which has a bar, 50-cover restaurant and six letting rooms.
Lawrence said: “The situation presented itself to take on another business in the town and we simply could not resist.
“The potential was always there for this business to be so much more and this still has not been fully exploited.”
