Grade B-listed country inn dating from 1700s for sale
PUBLICANS looking to take on a centuries-old property may be interested in the Kingarroch Inn.
Dating from the 1700s, the pub, located on the main street of Craigrothie, Fife, is Grade B-listed by Historic Scotland.
Currently closed, the property is said to have benefitted from a refurbishment in 2014, which included new carpets, electrics and plumbing.
The property’s accommodation is split across the ground and upper floors; the latter contains two split level dining areas.
Service areas in the pub include a commercial kitchen, which is said to have been recently upgraded to offer “state-of-the-art catering equipment” and a beer cellar.
The sale also includes owner’s accommodation. Housed in an adjoining cottage next to the pub, which has a separate entrance, the accommodation is split over ground floor and basement/garden level and comprises four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Strutt & Parker, which is jointly marketing the Kingarroch Inn with Cornerstone Business Agents, said the property benefits from “a unique East Neuk location”.
The Kingarroch Inn is on the market with a price tag of offers over £425,000.
