A NEW whisky mixer which is described as a ‘wild water’ has been launched by two Scotch enthusiasts.
The water, Larkfire, is sourced from the Isle of Lewis, where centuries-old gneiss rock is said to result in pure, soft water with low mineral content, making it a perfect mixer for whisky.
The canned water is also said to “open up and extend the true flavour of whisky” as there are no minerals or additives affecting it.
James McIntosh, co-founder of Larkfire, said the ‘wild water’ “complements the whisky, unlocking its hidden complexities”.
