EDINBURGH operators Iain McPherson and Kyle Jamieson toasted the first anniversary of their Leith pub, Nauticus, with their very own bottling of single malt.
The duo selected the cask of eight year old Glenglassaugh after tasting whisky from a number of different casks.
The spirit, matured in a Sauternes hogshead, was then bottled at cask strength. Only 275 bottles are available, on sale at Nauticus and Royal Mile Whiskies.
Meanwhile another of McPherson’s venues, cocktail bar Panda & Sons, has been named as one of the top 100 bars in the world.
The bar placed at number 77 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2019 51-100 list.
