A PUB in Motherwell is for sale for the first time in half a century.
The Woodcutter, on the town’s Merry Street, has been owned by the same family for the past fifty years and is described as a well-established local by selling agent Christie & Co.
It is said to be known for its karaoke bar and “lively atmosphere”, currently providing entertainment four nights a week.
Trading under management at present, the pub would be suited to a first time operator or a regional operator, according to the selling agent.
Brian Sheldon, regional director at Christie & Co’s Glasgow office, who is inviting offers for the freehold, said: “The Woodcutter is a long-established public house within the town and will be of interest to many buyers.”
