TWO new appointments have been made as part of a management shake up at the DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre.
Experienced hotelier Marcello Ventisei has been appointed GM of the four-star, 138-bedroom hotel; he brings 26 years of experience to the role, which includes seven years as GM at the Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square hotel.
In his new role, Ventisei will lead and develop the team at the hotel, as well as manage sales, operations and finance.
Meanwhile, Carol Mackillop joins as the hotel’s new marketing manager.
The venue is operated by hotel management company RBH.
