A FAMILY-owned restaurant in the village of Tarbet near Loch Lomond has committed to championing its local area in conjunction with VisitScotland.
Slanj Restaurant, which specialises in traditional Scottish cuisine, has joined the tourism body’s iKnow Partner programme – meaning the team has pledged to provide visitors with local information and recommendations in order to help them make the most of their trip.
VisitScotland said the accreditation will also help make it easier for visitors to connect with local businesses and ensure communities are able to benefit from tourism.
The programme is open to businesses that are part of VisitScotland’s Quality Assurance Scheme, with approved venues receiving a range of marketing and staff training materials.
