El Bandarra Vermut Rosé
The new El Bandarra Vermut Rosé.

A ROSÉ vermouth from Barcelona which is said to “taste like summer should” has been introduced in the UK.

El Bandarra Vermut Rosé has joined the Red and White variants in the range of vermouths from the Spanish winery. El Bandarra is the brainchild of the Virgili brothers – the sixth generation from the Casa Berger winery, which was established in 1878; since the 1960s, the family sold its craft vermouth in barrels to small neighbourhood cellars before the brothers decided to bottle and brand it in 2014.

The new Vermut Rosé, which is available in the UK through Love Drinks, has an ABV of 15% and is said to contain 30% less sugar than the red and white variants. Available in one-litre swing-top bottle, 15-litre bag-in-box and 30-litre keg formats, Vermut Rosé can be served straight up over ice or with tonic.

Love Drinks’ founder Kirsty Loveday said: “The new rosé is a brilliant example of El Bandarra’s innovative team and further strengthens our offering as the buzz for vermouth and all things pink increases.”
