A PERTHSHIRE publican has added four luxury rooms to his historic hostelry as he seeks to expand the business.

Dunning pub The Kirkstyle Inn, which dates from 1716, has been augmented with accommodation in an adjacent historic building, which is described as having “charming decoration and a luxury feel”.

Jamie Harrison, who has run the business for the past three years, said the inn, which is just off the A9 and around ten miles from Gleneagles, can now offer guests “an escape to the countryside with an overnight stay”.

“It feels great to finally be unveiling the new rooms as the next step in the pub’s history,” he said.

“The process has taken some time to get them just right but we’re delighted with the end result and look forward to welcoming new and old visitors in the very near future.”
