SOME 300 people attended the second annual Wee Garden Party at restaurant and wedding venue, Venachar Lochside, in the Trossachs this month.
The event serves to showcase the restaurant’s suppliers and highlight its surroundings on the northern shores of Loch Venachar.
This year’s event included a barbecue serving Scottish produce, live music, whisky and gin tastings, and an array of activities for kids, including a bouncy castle, face painting and a wand-making class.
Sponsored by Callander-based McQueen Gin, the event also had an altruistic side, supporting two local charities, It’s Good 2 Give, which supports young cancer patients and their families, and conservation charity The Woodland Trust.
