ADMIRAL Taverns has announced that former Heineken on-trade director, Chris Jowsey, will join the pub company as chief executive next month.
Jowsey joined Heineken in 2003 and has overseen the growth of Star Pubs & Bars, which now has 2700 outlets in the UK, in a number of strategic and commercial roles. Tom Ward, chairman of Admiral Taverns, said Jowsey’s experience will be “invaluable in leading the company through the next stage of its growth and development”.
