Asahi has branched into premium cider with the addition of Cornish Orchards, following the completion of its acquisition of Fuller’s Beer Company.
The completion sees the cider brand, as well as Fuller’s London Pride and Frontier, join the Japanese beer giant’s ‘super premium’ portfolio, sitting alongside the likes of Peroni Nastro Azzuro, Asahi Super Dry and Pilsner Urquell.
Earlier this year Fuller’s sold its entire business to Asahi in a deal said to be worth £250 million.
