Funkin draughts in new flavour for its Cocktails on Tap range
The company behind cocktail mixer brand Funkin has released what’s said to be the UK’s first Pink Gin Fizz on tap as part of a wider update to its draught cocktail range.
Pink Gin Fizz and Piña Colada join the updated Funkin ‘Cocktails on Tap’ fonts, sitting alongside the Pornstar Martini and Mojito.
Ben Anderson, head of marketing at Funkin, said the inclusion of Pink Gin Fizz in the firm’s range will allow operators to further capitalise on the gin demand.
“Our adapted Cocktails on Tap solution meets the latest serve trends,” he said.
“The gin boom is still going strong, so the inclusion of a carbonated Pink Gin Fizz enables the on-trade to capitalise on consumer demand for gin-based and pink serves.
The inclusion of a carbonated Pink Gin Fizz allows the on-trade to capitalise on demand.
“Our team has worked tirelessly to develop the best draught cocktail technology for the on-trade, ensuring serves are quick and easy to pour,
that they reduce wastage and also result in shorter waiting times for consumers and less strain on bartenders.”
Said to be ideal for nightclubs, high volume pubs and bars, Funkin’s draught cocktails are dispensed from 20-litre one way KeyKegs, using a KeyKeg coupler, similar to craft beers.
Since AG Barr-owned Funkin’s draught cocktail range first launched in 2018, it is said to have been used in around 750,000 cocktails.
Earlier this year the Funkin range underwent a rebrand to mark the firm’s 20-year anniversary.
