AN experienced operator has picked up the reins at the former Sygn bar and kitchen in the heart of Edinburgh’s west end, in a deal brokered by Cornerstone Business Agents.
The venue, which is said to have previously traded as “the bar with no name” before being rebranded as Sygn, has been purchased by Kay Harrison-Mann, who has relocated from north-west England to the capital to run the business.
Located on Charlotte Lane, the bar is said to benefit from its proximity to the main Edinburgh thoroughfares of Princes Street and Shandwick Place.
Cornerstone was inviting offers for the leasehold; the final sale price was not disclosed. It has a passing rent of £82,000 per annum.
